Bugs & Butterflies

We certainly have enjoyed this last week of Summer Camp! On the not-so-hot days, we spent a lot of time running around outside bug hunting. The kids loved to find cicada skins!

It’s been a week of creepy crawlies here as we made very cool ant hats and bee cuffs! The kids made lovely butterfly magnets out of coffee filters and clothes pins. (I used mine in a plant pot!)

Today, we are making “nectar” and snacking on ants! Make sure to ask your child when s/he gets home about our fun food today!

Once again, thank you for allowing your kids to play with us this summer! They have had a lot of fun, as have we. We hope to see you all in the fall. Have a great August!
