Summer Session Four Recap - Wild, Wild West
Summer Session - Week Four: June 28 - July 2, 2010
Howdy, Partners! We have spent this week visiting the Old West. The kids decorated cowboy hats, boots and made a pony. Those cacti that came home were so fun to make! Look for a bandanna to come home today, too! With the break in the heat, we spent a lot of time out on the playground.
Today is Western Games Day and the kids are playing rattlesnake, cactus toss and makin’ flapjacks on the griddle. There is gold in the sandbox and several kids are spending time sifting through it to strike it rich. The pony has just arrived to the squeals of many delighted kids! Pony rides will surely be the highlight of the day.
We hope you all have a safe and happy Fourth of July! See you in a week when we return to celebrate Superheroes starting July 12.
