Summer Session Two Recap - Dinosaurs Roar!
Summer Session - Week One: June 14 - 18, 2010
Dinosaur week is coming to a close. The kids spent some time learning about dinosaurs and bones and kept ourselves very busy making all kinds of cool stuff!
We made fossils and a dinosaur skeleton. We created a 3-D Tyrannosaurus Rex! We created a Stegosaurus and Triceratops with paints and noodles and coffee filters! The children were all very busy crafting and reading books about dinosaurs and playing with dinosaur toys.
There was a lot of time spent on the playground, cooling off with an icee afterward. Ask your child about the Lakeside Volcano and digging up dinosaur eggs in the sandbox!
Once again, the kids will all be coming home with their camp t-shirts, adorned with their hand prints and a stamp correlating to the week’s activities. Make sure to send the shirt back in next time your child comes so we can add more stamps for each week! **If you forgot to send it in this week, send it the next time you come and we will make sure to stamp it!**
