Summer Session One Recap - Down on the Farm!
Summer Session - Week One: June 7-11, 2010
What a great start to the summer! Both our returning and new students have settled in nicely to our Summer Camp routines. Thanks to everyone for sending in the icees and wipes!
Farm week was a success! We made spotted cows and had milkshakes, made pigs in mud (play dough!) and painted pigs with brown paint, created a barn and played with the animals inside. The kids painted with ears of corn, watched a show about baby animals and we are topping it all off with the Lambeth Petting Zoo’s arrival today! Make sure to ask your child what kinds of animals they got to see and pet during camp today.
The kids will all be coming home with their camp t-shirts, adorned with their hand prints and a stamp correlating to the week’s activities. Make sure to send the shirt back in next time your child comes so we can add more stamps for each week!
