Lakeside Presbyterian Church Weekday Preschool

Preschool is a great period of learning, but it is much more than ABC’s and 123’s. The preschool child’s job is to grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially. The way children do this best is by being in a program where the emphasis is on what each child can do.

Lakeside Presbyterian Weekday Preschool combines education and play to create programs for infants from 3 months old to Kindergarteners.

Our continuing care after the school days extends the atmosphere of fun and learning, quiet and joyful noise, enrichment programs and creative time into the afternoon.

Please visit our Programs page for individual descriptions of each of our offered programs or fill out the form to the right and we'll be in touch.

In 2010, Lakeside Presbyterian Preschool created our Extended Day program. It has since blossomed into a wonderful full day experience for our enrolled children. We offer a School Year, Full Year and Summer option. Morning hours, 7:30am - 8:45am, are included in all tuitions. When school hours end, Extended Day programs begins with rest time, then the children rotate through the Creative Play, Art and Literacy classrooms for teacher planned activities and self-guided play.

  • With Love and Gratitude

Ann Amrhein & Staff, I am not sure how to begin or end this letter. The simple words 'thank you' fall short of the entirety of our gratitude to you and the whole LPCWP staff. For the past 5 years we have had one of our precious children enrolled here.

  • Awesome

"The most awesome preschool in Richmond, with some very awesome children. Oh, and the teachers are great!" - Barbara K.
